Who we are

Formation

Following the Woman-Life-Freedom movement, Aida Health Alliance was developed to support injured protestors and assist them in regaining their physical and mental health. Access to treatment is a fundamental human right; however, unfortunately, many people did not have access to proper treatment because of the suppression of the Mahsa (Jina) movement. Thus, many physicians, psychologists, and other health professionals formed groups or organizations to advocate, educate, and support injured and traumatized individuals. After a few months, some of these groups initiated to form this alliance and invited active health-related groups and organizations to join. Aida Health Alliance, named after Dr. Aida Rostami, formally started its activities under a signed agreement by the representatives of these groups in March 2024.
